Hi,

We went to Big Sur for 2 days for my husband's 33rd birthday...Every time I go there Big Sur, Carmel by the Sea and Carmel Highlands, I just relax so much. This time around I questioned why? There's barely any sound around besides the sound of the ocean and the birds...Its' so tranquil, you feel like you're melting with the air. There was heavy fog but kind of further away towards the infinity. The cypress trees are coming out of the ocean trying to reach the heavens.

If you happen to go there, I highly recommend you visit Hawthorne Gallery Big Sur. The Gallery architecture is a piece of art in itself and the artists works displayed all around inside, outside, and the garden. Check their website out www.hawthornegallery.com. Every piece is spiritual, soulful, and full of movement and energy. Steve Kuntz one of the artist's, he works with found wood. He kayak's and he gets a wood drifting along the river, and than he carves and shapes. I will try to attach a couple of his work. I just love the one titled Screaming, along with the Wild Thing, and my husband's favorite is the Godfather.
